International Involvement at Lillegården Resource Centre

The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training has given Lillegården Resource Centre an international mandate.

International Co-operation and New Knowledge on School Developement

Lillegården Resouce Centre are co-ordinating bilateral efforts within the fields school developement and inclusive education. At the moment we are involved in three different project:

EEA Grants


The Resource Centre is co-ordinating the EEA grants to the new members of the EU, within the field of inclusive education. The 10 new member countries are looking for Norwegian partners. The Resouce Centre's main task in this, is to aid and co-ordinate the contact between possible partners during the initial phase.

School Developement Project in Tblisi, Georgia


Co-ordination of, and responsibility for, a 2 year project initiated by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. The main target is to include children with disabilities in Georgian schools. The leader of Lillegården Resource Centre is responsible on behalf of The Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training. The project require co-operation between Norwegian and Georgian universities, exchange students and school developement in 10 schools in the Georgian capital, Tblisi. Other Norwegian resource centres are also contributing.

SBV-net


Lillegården Resource Centre has the role of national co-ordinator for Norway in the OECD Network Combating School Bullying and Violence (SBV), where 22 countries participate. We are publishing information on Norwegian research, strategies and practice in the field of bullying and violence in schools, on the website www.oecd-sbv.net. The work is orgainzed through a team at the Centre, in co-operation with an external groupe of experts.
